The Platform Lift Company has added to its range of innovative and space-saving home lift solutions with a new PVE (Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator) option. Features include Vacuum Technology®, panoramic design, ease of installation (within a two-day period) and energy efficient operation.
Ease of living has been made simpler with the PVE home lift which has been designed and built with the customer in mind. Installation is straightforward as the self-supporting structure attaches to the floor without the need for a pit or wall fixings. The freestanding circular shaft can be fitted through the floor, within a stairwell or installed to reach a balcony/mezzanine area.
Because the PVE is powered by air, it is energy efficient and independent of a machine room. With the touch of a button, the platform moves up and down, transporting its passengers safely and smoothly between floors. A cabin telephone and cabin lock key can be supplied as part of the installation.
Due to the unique circular design, the PVE has one of the smallest footprints available within the home lift marketplace. It comes in different sizes to accommodate a small or standard wheelchair and either one, two or three passengers. For even more versatility, the PVE 37 model comes with a folding seat.
Customers can choose from a variety of colours and finishes. From a mirrored ceiling to tinted panoramic glass, this home lift can be styled for optimum luxury. The self-supporting structure also comes in different colours and metallic finishes to blend into a modern or traditional setting.
